RAID data recovery in Fulham and Central London
A failed array usually means a business has stopped. We treat every RAID case as a priority and recover from standard and nested levels on servers, workstations and storage enclosures.

If your array has just failed
- Don't force a rebuild, and don't reinitialise the array. A rebuild on a second failing drive is the most common way recoverable arrays are lost.
- Don't swap drives between bays. Label each drive with its slot number before removing anything.
- Don't run CHKDSK or fsck on a degraded volume.
- Power the system down and call 020 7237 6805.

RAID failures we recover from
- Multiple drive failure
- Failed rebuild
- Controller failure
- Lost or overwritten configuration
- Accidental reinitialisation
- Deleted volumes or partitions
- Power surge damage
- File system corruption
- Drives put back in the wrong order
How we work
Each member drive is assessed and copied individually. Any drive with a physical fault is repaired in Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom conditions first. We then reconstruct the array from the copies, work out the original configuration, and extract your data without writing anything to the original drives.
RAID levels we work with
- Standard
- RAID 0, 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Enhanced
- RAID 1E, 5E and 5EE
- Nested
- RAID 01 (0+1), 03 (0+3), 10 (1+0), 50 (5+0), 51 and 60 (6+0)
- Also
- JBOD and spanned volumes, SAN storage and server arrays
NAS devices
If your RAID lives inside a Synology, QNAP or similar box, see NAS data recovery, which has its own prices.
Common questions
Two drives have failed in my RAID 5. Is the data gone?
Not necessarily. In many cases one of the two drives dropped out earlier and the other failed recently. If we can repair or read either one, the array can usually be reconstructed. Don't attempt a rebuild.
Can you recover a RAID 0?
Yes, provided every drive can be read. RAID 0 has no redundancy, so a physically failed member has to be repaired in the cleanroom before the stripe can be rebuilt.
How quickly can you start?
Call us and tell us it's a RAID or server failure. We treat array failures as a priority, and an urgent service is available on request.
How much does RAID recovery cost?
The initial consultation is free. RAID 0 recovery is £650 + VAT. RAID 5, 6 and 10 recovery costs between £850 + VAT and £1,500 + VAT, depending on the number of drives that have to be repaired and rebuilt. These prices cover arrays of 2 to 10 drives.
Is my data kept confidential?
Yes. Your files are handled in confidence from the moment the device arrives until it's returned to you.
