After a spill
Switch the laptop off and leave it off. Liquid keeps corroding a powered board, so every attempt to turn it on makes the repair harder. We open the machine, clean the board ultrasonically and replace any damaged components.
Common questions
Do you fit genuine Asus parts?
Batteries are genuine Asus. For screens and other parts we use genuine or high-quality compatible components, and we tell you which before you agree to the repair.
My ROG overheats and throttles during games. Can you fix that?
Usually. Dust-clogged fans and dried-out thermal paste are the common causes, and a full clean and repaste brings temperatures back down. If a fan has failed we replace it.
Can you collect my Asus laptop from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Will I lose my files?
Most repairs don't touch your files at all. If the job involves reinstalling the system or replacing the drive, tell us what you need to keep and we'll back it up or move it across first. Everything on your machine is treated as confidential.
