Liquid metal needs careful handling
Many recent ROG laptops use liquid metal on the processor instead of ordinary thermal paste. It conducts heat very well, and it also conducts electricity, so it must be cleaned and reapplied with care during any thermal service or board repair. We do this as a matter of routine.

Common questions
My ROG runs hot and loud. Will a thermal service help?
Usually, yes. We strip the cooling system, clear the fans and fins and renew the thermal compound. If a fan has failed we replace it.
Can you upgrade the memory and SSD in a Zephyrus?
The SSD, yes, on almost every model. Memory depends on the model: some Zephyrus laptops have part of their memory soldered and one spare slot. We'll confirm for yours.
Can you collect my Asus ROG from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
