Common questions
My Dell won't charge. Is it the charger or the laptop?
It can be either. We test with a known-good charger first, which costs you nothing. If the charging port or the power circuit on the board has failed, both are repairable.
Can you upgrade the SSD and memory in my Dell?
On most Inspiron, Latitude, Vostro, Precision and G Series models, yes. Some thin XPS models have memory soldered to the board, so only the SSD can be changed. We'll check your exact model before quoting.
Can you collect my Dell laptop from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
