The upgrade that transforms an Inspiron
Many Inspirons were sold with a mechanical hard drive and a small amount of memory, and that is what makes them slow. Swapping the drive for an SSD, with Windows and your files cloned across, and adding memory usually makes the laptop feel new for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Common questions
Is an older Inspiron worth repairing?
Often, yes. Screens, batteries, keyboards and power jacks are inexpensive on Inspirons. If the motherboard has failed on an old model, we'll give you the price and our honest view.
The hinge on my Inspiron has broken. Can you fix it?
Yes. We replace the hinge and repair or replace the cracked casing around it. Avoid opening and closing the lid until it's fixed, as a loose hinge can crack the screen.
Can you collect my Dell Inspiron from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
