The x series fits high-end graphics into a remarkably thin case. To do it, Alienware uses a compact multi-fan cooling system and a specialised thermal interface material, and almost everything is tightly integrated.

Thin gaming laptops need careful servicing
There is very little spare room in an x series laptop, so thermal work has to be done precisely, with the right material reapplied correctly. Done properly it restores the performance the laptop had when new.

Can the memory be upgraded in an Alienware x series?
It depends on the model. Several x series laptops have memory soldered to the board, while the SSDs can be upgraded. We'll confirm for your model.
How much is an x series screen replacement?
Alienware screen replacements start from £165 including VAT. High refresh rate and QHD panels cost more.
Can you collect my Alienware x series from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
