Heat is the usual culprit
A gaming laptop that has slowed down has usually not worn out. Its fans and heatsinks have clogged with dust and the thermal compound has dried, so the processor and graphics chip throttle themselves to stay safe. A full strip, clean and repaste normally brings temperatures and frame rates back.

Common questions
My MSI shuts down in the middle of a game. What's wrong?
Almost always heat. When the cooling system can't keep up, the laptop cuts power to protect itself. A thermal service usually cures it. If a fan has failed, we replace it.
Can you replace a single-zone or per-key RGB keyboard?
Yes. We fit the correct keyboard for your model, whether it has a single-colour backlight, zoned RGB or per-key lighting.

Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
