Hinge failures
Broken hinges are common on some Aspire models. The hinge seizes, and the plastic it is fixed to cracks. We replace the hinges and repair or replace the damaged casing. Stop opening and closing the lid in the meantime, because a loose hinge can crack the screen.

Is it worth repairing a budget Aspire?
Often. Screens, batteries, keyboards and charging sockets are cheap to replace. If the motherboard has failed on an older model we'll give you the price and an honest opinion.

Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
