A Spin's screen and hinges do far more work than those of an ordinary laptop. The 360-degree hinges are opened, folded and twisted constantly, and the touchscreen is glass, so both are the parts most likely to need attention.

Touchscreens
On a Spin the glass, the touch layer and the display are bonded into one assembly. If the glass is cracked or touch has stopped working, the assembly is replaced as a unit. We source the correct part for your model, including versions that support a pen.

Common questions
The touchscreen works but the glass is cracked. Should I get it fixed?
Yes. Cracks spread, and touch usually starts to fail soon after. Broken glass is also a hazard to your fingers.
Can a stiff or broken Spin hinge be replaced?
Yes. We replace the hinges and repair any casing damage around them.
Can you collect my Acer Spin from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
