Thin laptops and soldered parts
On many Swift models the memory is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded, though the SSD usually can. Tell us the model and we'll confirm what can be changed before you spend anything.

Common questions
Can you replace the battery in an Acer Swift?
Yes. The battery is internal. We open the case and fit a replacement.
My Swift won't charge over USB-C. Can you repair it?
Yes. We test with a known-good charger first, then repair the port or the charging circuit if either has failed.
Can you collect my Acer Swift from Fulham or Central London?
Collection and return can be arranged for homes and offices across Fulham and Central London. Ask when you call 020 7237 6805 and we'll confirm what's possible for your postcode. You're also welcome to bring it to the workshop at Willow Walk, SE1, Monday to Saturday.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Parts we fit and motherboard repairs carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back in that time, bring the machine in and we'll put it right.
